Tony Richardson is the Regional Manager for the RSPB South West Region. He previously worked for the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust at Slimbridge. He will tell us what we have to look forward to on the reserves in our new 'region'. Come along and familiarise yourselves!
Helen Williams is a regular local contributor to our evening talks. Helen has been involved in natural history photography for nearly 20 years and we should be in for a real treat as she shows us some of the stunning images from her latest trip to Antarctica.
David Boag is an internationally published author and photographer with an eye for detail. Involved with both TV and Radio and a successful lecturer, David is making a welcome return to speak to us. It should be both stimulating and exciting.
John Wyatt has talked to us before however this is a new presentation covering the birds and antiquities of Egypt. John is a lifelong naturalist and ornithologist who spent time in Zambia. He was Deputy Director of the BTO from 1989~1991.
Ian Rowlands – We should be in for a fantastic talk from Ian – a renowned worldwide tour guide, consultant and writer. He is a trustee of Organisation Cetacea (ORCA) a registered whale and dolphin charity.
Jane Brookhouse will give us a talk on the Somerset Levels and the Wiltshire Chalk Downlands. Having spent nearly 20 years with the RSPB in Reserves Management Jane is currently the Area Reserves Manager for Somerset and Gloucestershire.
